Kurti homazhe at Rugova's grave: Today we placed a crown of fresh flowers with Osman

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with President Vjosa Osmani, have been visiting the grave of historic President Ibrahim Rugova on the 16th anniversary of his death.

After fresh flowers were placed at the tomb, Kurti said Rugova before he was a committed, peaceful, calm, rational and humanist intellectual.

<x0brahim Rugova is Kosovo's first president as elected by popular vote on May 24th 1992, and Kosovo's first president, elected in the Parliament, on 4th March 2002. Rugova before he was president, was committed intellectual, peaceful, calm, rational and humanist”.

Tuta Kurti said Rugova has made a valuable contribution to the unification of Albanians against Occupy Serbia and internationalisation of the Kosovo issue.

This year when we mark the 16th anniversary of his death, we are in a year when we will mark his 20th anniversary as the president of free Kosovo on 4 March, and his 30th anniversary as president on 24 May. Along with President Vjosa Osmani, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova and the president, at his grave, placed a crown of fresh flowers”.
