Kurti government saw foreign policy strategy, requires co-ordination with US neighbours for recognitions

Kosovo has no clear strategy and plan in diplomacy since the government's coming to power Kurti 2 is assessing former Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Ferat Shala. MP The PDK in an interview for Online Economy said the government should concentrate on increasing its capacity in foreign diplomacy in order to increase the number of recognitions for Kosovo.
We have no political and external diplomacy at all since the arrival of the Kurti 2 government. We have a passive situation, and we have no known activity in diplomacy. Unfortunately, the minister is existing as far as this resolution is concerned, Shala said.
The Kurti government must have increased its capacity in the matter of foreign diplomacy. The number of recognitions for Kosovo should increase. It needs to be lobbied for EU states that have not recognised Kosovo and many other steps the country should take internationally, but so far we have not seen any of these”, he said.
While Movement for the Union chairman Valon Murati said there is an approach to relations with Greece, stressing there are also signals from Spain to recognise Kosovo.
He said Kosovo has no chance of becoming part of important international organisations such as the Council of Europe or U NESTO saw US support.
The government does not have much room to maneuver has the path of dialogue. That's what he told you so far. Of course there is a moment of relations with Greece. I don't know if this relaxing was even a chance of knowing even this gas project and somehow it remained. There is a signal of relaxation from Spain, but not far from Kosovo's” recognition signals, Murati said.
“With Albania relations should be empowered to conduct these agreements, which is being connected so that we can operate as a unique space. Candidate status is a legitimate right of Kosovo, but Kosovo has not carried out visa liberalisation. It is an ambitious goal and it will be difficult without the progress of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, without visa liberalisation, and I see it far from”.
The application to other international organisations is somewhat conditional on Washington's agreement on what the position of our allies is. We should be aware that we have no chance to become part of important international organisations such as the Council of Europe or the U NESTO saw our allies' support. If their message is not to be applied we can apply but we only want”, Murati told EO.
And political issues in the country knower Fatmir Sheholli stressed that in terms of foreign policy, extraordinary co-ordination is needed with Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro in order to influence countries that have not accepted Kosovo.
Kosovo's “foreign policy has failed for a long time and we have not now known Kosovo for 3 years. As for foreign policy, we need extraordinary co-ordination with Albania and with Macedonia and Montenegro in order to make a strong co-operation impact on countries that have not accepted Kosovo and to have long-term strategies in this respect”, Sheholli said.
Under the resolution of dialogue with Serbia, we need to understand that it will be very difficult that EU states that have not recognised Kosovo will find a method which will lead them to accept us. Although there are powerful claims that Greece may accept Kosovo, but that I think it is speculation that is being interrupted as Serbia is working on the possibility that the states that have accepted Kosovo remove that accession to the state of Kosovo”.
