Prime Minister Albin Kurti, at the media conference, criticised critics for wrongly performing the decision to raise the price of energy. Kurti has blamed past governments for energy problems in the country.

“Z The RRE has published the consultative report on extraordinary tariff reviews. We have heard various interpretations that seem to have had no point in informing Kosovo. As a result of the global energy crisis that has caused the rise in the current price and because of KEK thermocentral independences that have increased our need for energy, Z. The bill we're paying is inadequate in two decades of electricity, we're feeling the age of tools, institutions have failed to signal to citizens that dependence on energy is not sustainable as a practice. They approved the construction of thousands of buildings, buildings, now dependent on electricity. The crisis will last long beyond winter, we are facing this as a government. The Kosovo government has expressed readiness to make available a subenion for the energy sector at 75m euros. The energy crisis was extended to all of”, Kurt said, Follow Periscope

Kosovo for 20 years has been pitied to energy businessmen. Political makers of decision-making positions, through actions and often silence, have given priority to other producers in the countries of the region”, Kurti has said.
