Kurt and Latif are calling for people to be vaccinated with the third dose of Anti-Coved.

According to the Health Ministry, together with Prime Minister for Health Adviser Yusuf Ulaj, they were hosted by the director of the Main Centre of Family Medicine in Fushe Kosovo, Osman Magera.

After confirming the presence of Omitron variant on Kosovo's territory, recent days there has been an increase of new cases in our country as well as around the world. The prime minister and minister of Health reiterated that the government is in charge and, along with health authorities, is constantly monitoring the epidemiological situation, in consultation with local and international experts. They said that any action, each step the Government will take, will be based on the latest scientific data concerning the Omitron” variant, said by the SSH.

According to this ministry, it was stressed at the meeting that we should by no means be released.

The experience of other countries shows that increasing cases, as well as increasing the number of patients lying in the hospital, can be fast and ruthless. In the face of the Omitron version wave, two main objectives were highlighted: that the increase in cases is not so fast that our health system, which is still fragile and that we can prevent, the spread of the virus, as well as the severe disease and loss of life that may be caused by it, are overloaded. Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Latifi also urged citizens to take the strengthening dose of the vaccine.

While for citizens who have received their first two doses, the reinforcement dose was called on as soon as three months passed from taking the second dose.
