As to whether there is enough USKKUK capacity to cope with the flow of patients, Krasniqi has stressed that he has already proved to have had the capacity to manage these cases.
We remember that in Kosovo there are 997 active cases with COVID-19. In the last 24 hours, 144 new cases of the virus have been confirmed, up from 3 grand and 908 tests conducted.
The number of patients affected by Covid is small, which several months we have a symbolic number. Today we have 27 patients lying down, six of them positive. 21 others have complications”, Krasniqi has indicated.
We expect the number to increase in the coming days. As far as capacities are concerned, I believe we have already witnessed that Kosovo has had the capacity to manage the pandemic”, Krasniqi said at RTV21.
Yes, preparations for cases expected to increase, Krasniqi announced that even the oxygen supply would not be a problem.
“The biggest challenge we've had is oxygen supply, because that's a major part of therapy. We already have. We have completely changed the oxygen supply system”, Krasniqi added.
