Buying housing, housing and land made up 68 percent of the total of 389m euros in foreign investment. And 87m euros have been invested in financial services.
Foreign investment in real estate has increased by 106 percent from the previous year.
According to Petrit Kastrat, the post-isolation pandemic period affected the growth of this trend.
This says that during 2020, many exiles were unable to come to Kosovo, and this has influenced the demand to rise a year later.
For Kosovo Professor Ukshi, this type of investment does not bring much fruit to the country's economy, as it increases the number of workers, but does not affect the increased value Kosovo needs most.
According to her, foreign direct investments should be directed into tourism, industry and other important sectors.
Besides increasing trading, real estate has also marked recent price increases as a result of pandemic. /Kankosova
