As some American media write about the military, KSF will receive equipment called “RQ-20 Long Endurance USA”, produced by “AeroVironment”.
The agreement with “AeroVironment” has been to complete the production of these devices on January 25th. Kosovo has ordered 40 total units, worth about $21,000.
“Puma LE” are planes that are launched by hands and serve as border surveillance. They serve like drones. They can stay in the air for up to 6.5 hours and can operate in all environments.
US military troops in Kosovo, as part of KFOR's mission, are known for using these aircraft for border surveillance.
