Kosovaress marks 23rd anniversary of foundation

With the break-up of the Interim Government in January 2000 and the establishment of the Interim Administrative Council, all institutions created by the Kosovo Liberation Army, the KLA's political directorate and the Interim Government, respectively.
In September 2000, Kosova Prees started its journey as an independent news agency, never looking back again. The beginning was difficult, and it was fought for survival, and then, thanks to persistence, the development period began and, year after year, the expansion of products.
In 2002, Kosova priss passed through the pre-exploration system, originally in Albanian, and from 2005 he resumed publishing in English as well as in 2007 in Serbian and Turkish.
On the 10th anniversary of the establishment (2009), Kosova Prees brought to the country's media market, the newest products -- video news and audio -- while on the 15th anniversary the foundation opened the office in Tirana. The 16th anniversary brought another product, that of the photo sector.
Kosova Prees, on the 17th anniversary of his work, introduced its newest product, which was the live broadcast of events. Direct transmissions were made with the newest technology, through 4K cameras. Continued investment in technology allows Kosova Prees today to make up to 10 transmissions “live” at the same time, as well as directed.
When Kosova Prees celebrated two decades of work, the Production Department was introduced, which cares for the realisation of educational and entertainment emissions, as is the children's show “Nest” and display “Cult”.
In 2017, Kosova Prees is members of the Balkan and Southeast European News Age Network (ABNA-SE). Kosova Prees, since membership, has made a valuable contribution to promoting national values to the news network being edited on ABNA platforms. In September last year, Kosova Prees after successfully organising the ABNA-SE General Assembly was also entrusted with the role of the presidency.
Thanks to commitment, responsibility and accuracy, the biggest and most important media in Kosovo, Albania, northern Macedonia, as well as other countries in the region and the wider ones continue to trust Kosovo's news agency, co-operating closely every day for years now.
The Kosova Prees news agency continues to bring about readers and clients everything that happens in Kosovo's daily political, economic and social life, the region, Europe and the world, but also raising important issues through other journalistic genders as interviews, documentaries, reports and others.
Currently, Kosova Prees functions in three languages -- Albanian, English and Serbian -- while continuing to target being a trusted source of news as well as a contributor to increased freedom of expression.
