Dear citizens of the Republic of Kosovo!

With the aim of correct and timely information, we would like to let you know that the Federal Department of Digital Communications and Transport of the Federal Republic of Germany has asked the Federal Council (Bundesat) on December 29th 2021 to approve some changes to the driver's patent regulations, among them for no additional exams of driving permits from the Republic of Kosovo, Albania, Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Moldova.

The conversion of patent drivers without additional exams in these categories is envisioned for driving permits from the Republic of Kosovo: AM, A1, A2, A, B, EU, C1, C1E, CE, D1, D1E, D and DE. This draft regulator is expected to be examined in the next sessions in Bundestrat, and once the screening date is confirmed, we will inform you in time through our communication channels.
