KEK: Despite B2 Block restore, electricity consumption is not covered

With the B2 bloc's return to office, the amount of electricity production in the country has increased to 890 megawatts per hour.
According to KEK director Nagip Krasniqi, despite the bloc's B2 recovery, an amount of electricity has yet to be imported.
“Block B2 entered into operation yesterday and is in full operation. Its production generated the generator is about 260 megawatts, until around 250 megawatts are online. This bloc along with Kosovo's three blocs A and another Kosovo bloc B produce together about 890 megawatts of electricity. This amount is enough to supply most of the country with energy, but not all of it, especially during peak times where the load is much larger”, declared for RTV Dukagjin, Nagip Krasniqi.
Even ECK mechanical adviser Istref Klinkaku says Kosovo still needs electricity import.
“in certain periods of the day is still needed to import electricity to meet the needs of all consumers”.
Besfort Kosovo from the Balkans Green Foundation says that with the B2 bloc's return to office, electricity reductions will significantly decrease.
This undoubtedly affects import reduction and increases the stability and safety of the network. I believe that now there will be no need for reductions even though demand is too high”, he said.
The cause of B2 Block decay since 14 December has been out of place, further making the energy crisis in the country difficult.
