Will KEK make the B2 block production by January 20th?

The fall of the B2 bloc had become the central topic in the country during the month of December. The rise in electricity prices in global markets and the lack of production due to the KEK's independence had raised concerns among citizens about how to cope with low-term energy shortages.
In the Kosovo government, one of the officials had even mentioned the possibility of a sabotage, or deliberate destruction. However, there have been weeks since experts from Germany who, along with local experts, are aiming to return the bloc B2 to January 20th, as promised.
In a response given to Gazeta Express, from the Kosovo Energy Corporation's Information Office, they have provided more details on the modes of co-operation with the company General Electric.
“As the Chief Executive Chief explained the other day, we are repeating that the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) has contractual agreements with the company of the original turbine manufacturer in TC Kosova B, so with “General Electric” (GE) the heir of ALCOM. As for the work, we suggest that GE representative co-operates with our experts and is in constant co-ordination with GE Company. As work is mainly done by KEK experts”, KEK's written response to the Express says.
Asked when the works are expected to be completed, works at KEK say the works are going through the pre-summer dynamics.
“Basicly, the works are continuing according to the previous dynamic and for developments in KEK will inform you in time of”.
We remember that after more than a decade, Kosovo faced electricity reductions during December. Now the situation seems more stable, but it is still appealed for electricity savings. Meanwhile, as far as KEDS has warnings of energy expensive. The Kosovo government has already suggested that it will cover the import of additional energy Kosovars need for consumption.
