KEDS Starts Modernisation of Prizren-Zur Line

The mid-term tension line 35 kV from the country's second largest city, Prizren, to Kosovo's largest village, Zhur, has from now on integrated a special device for detection of corruption. Earlier, when a defect was presented on this line, teams were forced to follow [...]
Earlier, when a defect was presented on this line, the teams were forced to follow its total length of ten miles in order to locate it, and now the defect will be located at the moment, through catatial monitoring.
This will affect reducing the duration of power outages, rapid localisation, increased efficiency and immediate intervention by the KED teams. So tens of thousands of consumers on that side will have much more efficient services.
The electronic device will monitor the airline all the time and provide accurate information about the independence at the main SCADA Control Centre, meanwhile installed indicators in a strategic position, will enable teams to view it easily through the glistening (LED) light.
If the defect occurred between the supply substation and the location where the indicators are located, then it would imply that the collapse occurred in that part. So, the moment any surprises occur, an alarm message will be accepted at the SCAD center, which will provide accurate information about the incident on the network.
KEDS will continue installing detectors on other problematic lines as well, while remaining committed to providing as much quality energy supply services to consumers.
