KED spokesman Viktor Buzhala has said there is expected to be an increase in electricity bills by 30 to 40 per cent in the two reviews he will make the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE).
“Over these days we wait Z HRA will make the decision from the application we've made for extraordinary tax review. We expect price increases as we apply on formula. Based on the expenses we've made that request. We expect it to have reflections. We have to assume that there will be a regular review then in the spring. For tariffs that take effect from April 1st this year to March 31st next year. It's a regular process, there's a growth waiting. But we're not the authority that decides the ZRE. Unfortunately, it will be relatively high growth. It's going to be a 30 to 40 percent increase based on our estimates, for both times I say.
