In order to establish order and order, eliminate losses and provide as quality services as possible, KDS is continuing its fight against electricity abusers. This mission is being accomplished with field teams that are uncompromising to any consumer who misuses it. Their identification is being done easily through sophisticated and integrated systems in energy stabilizers.
Peja's Decani, Prizren's Krajka and Pristina's Bardosh, were just some of the locations where the KDS took stake recently against electricity abusers, where some consumers were caught in the phalgussia by misusing energy services.
Despite the crisis the country is facing, some of its consumers are continuing to illegally exploit energy services, risking not only the energy system but also the general safety of citizens.
Uncontrolled use of electricity, except that it is causing overload on the grid, is also endangering energy infrastructure completely.
This has made KEDs intensify even more shares by organising numerous checks on consumers suspected of misusing. To them, except the fines are being pronounced, but they are also prosecuted for court, where by law in power, they risk being sentenced to up to three years in prison.
Each year, KEDs file around five thousand criminal charges against those who illegally exploit electricity services.
KECS appeals to consumers that in any circumstances they do not misuse electricity and if they face such cases, use communication channels through the Call Centre at 0800 791 00, or mark us on social networks, where each case will be treated with full privacy.
KEDS will not stop with these shares until the total elimination of this phenomenon.
