A BBC journalist in the largest city of Almati shared a video showing how the shooting continued during Thursday night.
The UN, US, Great Britain and France have called on all sides to refrain from violence, but so far, there seems to be no peace for the country.
The Internet doesn't work, and little independent information gets there. According to official data, more than 3,000 people have been completed in handcuffs, while 70 roadblocks have been set up nationwide.
The president, who blames for this situation on what he calls <x0-terrorists” trained by foreigners, but without giving evidence of these claims, said the operations would continue until <x2milants are completely eliminated”.
The US State Department said it was monitoring Russian troops closely.
“The United States and, frankly, the whole world will be watching for any human rights violations,” said a spokesman, adding that “would also be in pursuit of any action that may indicate the capture of Kazakh institutions. ”
