Board RTK has approved the Kosovo General Director Shkumbin Ahmetxekaj's proposal for the dismissal of Mentor Shala from the position of RTK deputy general director.
Instead of Mentor Shala, the deputy director general of RTK has been named Arsim Halili.
They have also announced that there will be competitions for this position and that the new deputy director, no longer than six months, will be selected.
“Bord of RTK approved Mr. Shkumbin Ahmetxekaj, General Director's Task Agent in RTK for the dismissal of Mr. Mentor Shala from the position of RTK deputy director-general”, the announcement says.

Shala during the time of carrying out her duties at RTK, consistently and repeatedly violated RTK's Law on RTK and Internal Orders, whether acting contrary to law and internal acts or failing to maintain impartiality”, says among other things in W. “Proposing decision for Mr. Shala from the position of RTK deputy director is based on Article 33 paragraph 1.2, Article 31 paragraph 2 subparagraph 2.2 and subparagraph 2.3, of Law 04/ L-046 for Kosovo Radio Television (G.Z. No. 7, April 27, 2012 article 8 paragraph 2, Article 19 paragraph 9, article 20 paragraphs 12 and 14, article 22 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Kosovo Radio Television Station (Nr. 000122 on 16,01.2022), Article 7 paragraph 2 of the Order's Competence and Responsibilities of Kosovo Radio Television (nr. 1355/17 of the date 29.11.2017), Article 7 paragraphs 1.1, 1.7 and 1,21 of the Order for the Mathematical and Disciplinary Resciplinary Authority of RTK (N.0736/18 of the 05.06.2018) and the RTK Board's decision by No. protocol 00/05/22, dated 19,01,2022 for the dismissal of RTK General Director”, is said to be away.
The RTK Board has approved Mr. Ahmetjekaj Shumbin, U.D. RTK Director General's appointment of Mr. Education Halili in U.D. position. RTK Deputy Director General, up to the candidate selection for this position under the public competition, but no more than six months.
