The spokeswoman of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague, Angela Greep, in a written reply has stated that the West Panel will decide on the request that Kadri Wessel attend his mother's funeral ceremony that died this morning.
Greep has said the Special allows those in custody to apply for such cases.
The legal framework of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers allows banned persons to make requests on the panel responsible, when there are convincing humanitarian grounds. The panel will decide on these demands”, Greep said.
The Special's spokeswoman did not provide additional details at Kadri Wessel has applied to attend the funeral.
“All public documents, including documents submitted by defence and decisions by judges, are published on the Kosovo Specialised Chambers website”, she said when asked by the Express newspaper if Wessel has applied to the panel responsible.
