Prime Minister Johnson has said Great Britain could deploy troops to protect NATO allies if Russia invades Ukraine.
From the prime minister, Johnson has said he will try to persuade Russia to step down, reports the BBC.
Russia, which has denied that it plans to invade Ukraine, has deployed around 100,000 troops, tanks, artillery and rockets near the Ukrainian border.
It is the first time since World War II that Russia has moved troops from the country's east to the Ukrainian border.
