Denmark plans to lift almost all restrictions on corruption next week, despite record infection levels, announced the country's chief minister, Mette Frederiksen.

On February 1st, Danish people will no longer have to wear masks or show a vaccine certificate in most countries, reports the paper.

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen's government is following instructions from the country's Commission for Disease Control, which has recommended the gradual removal of emergency measures to fight pandemic.

Frederiksen called the movement a historic moment.

We're saying goodbye to the restrictions and say goodbye to the life we knew before the Coronobrus. The high coverage of the vaccine turned out to be a superarme”, she stressed.

In Denmark, more than 80 per cent of the entire population is vaccinated.

Half the Danish people have already received a backup dose.
