LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has said they have not yet decided whether to participate in the extraordinary session, called by Prime Minister Albin Kurti for the Serbian referendum.
“The LDK is in domestic consultations, and its Parliamentary Group is reviewing all requirements and needs and, in final consultation, LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku will give the final word about LDK participation in the session. This session from us should be seen that the prime minister wants to hide his role behind the Parliament, that is, to share his responsibility against this serious process with the Republic Parliament, which differs from other political commitments and processes that Kosovo has so far had”.
Haziri has declared that Kurti is willing to take this decision away from himself and share it with the Parliament.
“Tomorrow concerns participation of responsibility ] tomorrow Prime Minister [Albin Kurti] shares responsibility with the Parliament. It will attribute responsibility to the Parliament, removing it from itself, even though with constitutional role the prime minister has the right to bring the decision and in a political mechanism to announce the parties participating in the Assembly, civil society and the people of Kosovo on this decision. With the fact that it is attributed to the Parliament, he is interested in sharing political parties in the country to share responsibility for his decision not to allow Serbia's referendum to be held in Kosovo”.
He said Prime Minister Albin Kurti has numbers but has no courage to face this political process, which he has described as serious.
Kosovo's “Prime Minister Albin Kurti has political majority, but has no political courage to postpone the process forward, as agreed with Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, and President Vjosa Osmani. They feel inadequate and small about this decision. Of course, the opposition, including opposition leader Lumir Abdixhiku, has underlined the need for serious processes to be built a consensus and the Republic's Parliament has its word. The opposition's role should be in the Parliament and we have no option other than the Parliament, which is the highest state body, where serious decisions should be discussed and where it should be discussed, discussed and exploited by all political means and the final decision is seen, so that Kosovo is not allowed to continue with status-quo -- face a comprehensive process, which Kosovo needs to dictify and this new dynamic leads to a comprehensive final agreement, which is the main goal of<1> Has Hazi said in Klarin.
