Halabak residents of Podujevo allow the new imam to enter the mosque

Residents of the village of Halabak of Podujevo are unhappy with the new imam, selected by the Kosovo Islamic Community.

Before they perform Friday's prayer, they are making sure to prevent the arrival of the new imam to the village of Halabak in Podujevo.

Determined that they don't want the Islamic Community's selection, there are two Fridays that there were verbal clashes when the imam came, which they had allowed within the mosque.

Therefore, Kosovo police are still watching the situation.

For this reason, residents have even signed a petition and a series of requests for the Islamic Community and also for the ombudsman.

But complaints don't end.

Residents say it is depressing for them not to be taken into account by the Islamic Community.

Shortly thereafter, Friday prayer began at the mosque.

And he was directed by an imam, chosen from the people of the village.
