After that, there have been numerous reactions. In this regard, North Macedonia's first deputy prime minister, Artan Grubi, has been declared.
He said the decision surprised them and did not understand the reason for such a move, since the situation with Covid-19 is the same in both countries.
The recent decision of Kosovo health authorities surprised us and I don't understand the reason for such a move, because the health situation is the same as in Kosovo and in northern Macedonia or in Albania, while O BSH and Western countries are considering lifting restrictions.
I hope that the Kosovo government will review this decision over the coming week and restore the key precautions of”, he says.
Grubi shows that their aim is to remove borders between countries in order to facilitate the circulation of people and goods.
“One of the first decisions we have insisted on working on in the past government was to remove restrictions on the border with Kosovo, and we achieved that after many efforts and meetings with Kosovo health authorities.
This helped citizens from both sides of the border and has worked without hindrance.
Our goal is to remove the borders between us, starting with the joint management of border crossings that will facilitate the circulation of people and goods”, he said.
