“Life is hard, but fools make it even harder by”, is the statement that Rama published.
Otherwise, in Tirana, Albania, the protest of supporters of former Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has ended, as police -- using water cannons and tear gas -- removed protesters from the PD headquarters.
The January 8th protest was called by former DP leader Berisha to take over the party headquarters. He has argued that DP leader Lulzim Basha is “characterised” from this post, through an in-party referendum held last December. Berisha had initiated this referendum.
The protest closed over three hours after its start, while Berisha warned he would not give up his intention to take control of the DP headquarters.
Protesters tried to enter PD headquarters, but hours after the protest was launched, headquarters was surrounded by police units, and rule authorities said a citizen and a policeman were easily injured during the clashes.
Police said the intervention was made at the request of a group of Democratic Party deputies, “who have sought police assistance, after being risked by protesters”, the report said.
