Democratic League of Kosovo MP and the former head of the Podujevo municipality, Agim Veliu, has announced that the LDK branch in Podujevo, along with the party's leader, Lumir Abdhidjiku, last night called an extraordinary Assembly of the Podujevo branch.
Veliu says such a assembly is against the law of the LDK and illegal, so he points out he will not participate.
“Since today's assembly is antistate and illegal, dear activists and LDK members, I announce that I will not participate in such a farce, where a new chairman, who is not even part of the structures of our 48x1>, wrote Veliu.
Agim Veliu says such action by Abixhiku and the other members of the Podujevo branch will lead to the destruction of what Veliu calls “the last surrender of LDK possibly”.
