Escobar Lajcak to visit Kosovo, Serbia

That's what diplomatic sources in Brussels have said.

The same have not denied that in some of the meetings Lajcak will have in Pristina and Belgrade, he may be accompanied by US envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar.

Sources in Brussels have warned that they expect the issue of voting organising Serbia's elections on Kosovo territory to open in the dialogue.

The Kosovo government has not agreed to allow voting for Serbia's referendum, held on Sunday, January 16th.

The European bloc has expressed regret after the end of this referendum.

Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabiq is expected to visit Brussels next week, which has warned he will ask the EU for Serbs in Kosovo to be able to vote in Serbia's elections.

There have been no meetings under the dialogue for a long time.

The European bloc has been ambitious to hold a high-level meeting at the end of last year, but something like that has not happened with the clarification that the parties have expressed no proper will to achieve any results.
