He in the parliamentary debate on expensive electricity has reiterated that rising electricity prices are illegal and that the PDK opposes this increase.

The energy crisis in Kosovo did not result from the global crisis because Kosovo was not affected by the global energy crisis... Kosovo does not depend on the Gazprom gas-reacher, Nord Stream, nor the pipeline, nor on the political crisis in Russia and Ukraine, and these reasonings do not stand. The prime minister and his government brought this crisis as a result of mismanagement because power reserves were not created in time, interfered with political orders in KEK repairs without proper inspections being made and subsequently created independence in bloc 2 causing millions of euros for KEK and Kosovo. Now you are misusing money for the so-called expert, and for that, I had asked the State Prosecutor to launch investigations into these deliberate losses that are causing Kosovo”, Berisha said.
