Although it was pre-priced for this deadline to end Friday, ZRE had decided to postpone it considering the interest of the interest parties to offer comments.
ZRGE has so far received comments from various parties of interest, such as: The Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna, the Institute for Development Policy (INDEP), the regulated operators COST, KEDS and KESCO, and has accepted comments from electricity consumers, which are expected to publish the following days.
Prime Minister Kurti has also promised that the government of Kosovo will submit its comments, but it has not been disclosed whether they have sent or sent them during the day before the end of the deadline.
Otherwise, the Energy Regulatory Office has released the consultative report on priceing electricity, which has been rejected by opposition parties in the Parliament, but not even by those of the ruling Vetevendosje Movement.
Z proposal The RRE is to raise the electricity price for consumers who spend over 600kWh a month, while those who spend up to 800kWh or more will not help either the government's subvention of 75m euros.
The ZERE proposes that the fee for consumers by 800 kWh of electricity spent monthly will rise to 13.31 euros, while those spending 1000 kWh will face a 24.62-euro increase.
If the government doesn't share subsidies, Z. RRE considers it necessary to increase the price of electricity for other categories as well. In this case, Z RRE proposes that electricity tariffs be changed so that business consumers can increase the price of electricity by 9 percent.
An increase in electricity prices by 9 percent has also been proposed for households, considered to spend up to 600 kWh of energy per month.
In this case, it is also proposed that the fee application of 0.11 euros/kWh for energy spent at the time of the high fee during the day and 0.09 euros/kWh for energy spent on low fees overnight.
The consumer who spends 300 kWh a month is estimated to be a consumer who spends the energy needed to cover essential needs for a four-member family. During the year, 20.5% of consumers do not pass this threshold in a month, according to the ZRRE. These consumers get into category A.
The consumer who spends 450kWh a month represents the average consumption of a household consumer during the year.
Based on KED's data, average consumption (from 2012 to 2020) by households spending over 300kWh a month is~ 460 kWh/month. Average consumption in 2021 for households that spend over 300 kWh of electricity is about 440 kWh. During the year, 44 percent of consumers do not pass that threshold in a month. These consumers get into category B.
The consumption consumer 600kWh per month represents minimal consumer consumption during the winter, on the basis of analysis during the bloc's establishment on previous tariffs, 69 percent of consumers do not pass this threshold in a month during the year, and 79 percent of consumers do not cross that level during summer months. These consumers get into category C.
The consumer who spends 800 kWh a month represents a consumer with consumption over the proposed bloc. These consumers get into category D.
The consumer who spends 1,000 kWh a month represents a consumer with higher electricity consumption. These consumers get into category E.
