“We have data that it's more transmitted, especially to the unexplored, but it infects people with the three doses”, said Tyra Grove Krause, one of the heads of Danish health authority.
Despite that, Denmark does not consider the new version threatening, and this week it announced it will lift any austerity measures against pandemic.
The “may seem strange and paradoxically that we eliminate restrictions with current levels of infection, but we need to look at more figures, one of the most important is that of seriously ill patients and that curve has broken” said at a press conference chief Minister Mette Fredricksen.
Meanwhile, doctor Ilir Alimehmet told A2 CNN that if this new version does not enter Albania, the infection curve will begin to decline: “In January we did not just have the Omitron version, but also Delta. He needs his time to move Delta with at least four weeks. Four weeks passed and now we have 95% Omitron. If this option doesn't enter BA.2, the curve will start to drop”.
