According to Health Ministry data sent Radio Free Europe, the number of children 12 to 17, vaccinated with one or two doses of vaccine, is about 45,000.

Of the general number of children of this age group, which according to the Kosovo Statistics Agency is over 160,000, is about 28 percent vaccinated.

In the Health Ministry, they say that the parents' reluctance to vaccinate children “is unbased”.

Pfizer vaccine. B ONTech for children 12-15 has received green light from the world's leading health institutions.

Before the decision, scientists have conducted clinical trials with thousands of children and have not reported any serious security concerns.

The handing of the 12-year-old group vaccine in Kosovo was approved in November last year.

“Children's parents aged 12 and older should vaccinate children without any reserve, much more so now that [the province] Omitron [the coronary] affects young age, such as students”, says in a statement by the Ministry of Health in Kosovo, sent Radio Free Europe.

REL has contacted some parents to discuss their choice not to vaccinate children, but they have not wanted to be identified.

Under anonymity, some have said they fear vaculation, due to negative <x0-effects” in the future.

Others have expressed confidence that even in the event of infection, children will easily overcome it.

Since the outbreak of pandemic, in March 2020, children have had far less chance of becoming seriously ill by coronarys. In the United States and the United Kingdom, however, health authorities have reported record numbers of hospitalized children as a result of the most contagious version of the coronary, Omitron.

Infectian Hamdi Ramadani, says the vaccine offers child protection.

The parents should think about their children's health and vaccinate. Recent data shows that the number of cases is high. It is the duty and duty of parents to vaccinate them”, says Ramadani for Radio Free Europe.

If parents do not vaccinate children, he adds, they allow the virus to spread even more.

Based on data from the Ministry of Health in Kosovo, released on January 20th, the 10--19-year-old group has been the most affected by the choreography.

Out of the total 2,943 new cases, 899 have been of this age group, while 181 of age group 0 to 9.

The more people vaccinated, the easier the disease will be passed even if it is infected”, Ramadani says.

Similar calls are made by Kosovo University Clinical Clinic Director Violet Graychev.

The former must vaccinate children over the age of 12, not to hesitate. The World Health Organization” recommends this, she says.

According to WHO, vaccinating children against coronary is necessary in the fight against pandemic. Vaccines, according to research, influence the increased immunity to the virus and the avoidance of hospitalisation and serious consequences from the virus.

In the United States and in some other countries, vaccine of 5-11-year-olds has been approved.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), children are as likely as adults to be infected with coronarys. They can also become seriously ill and have short - term or long - term consequences.

The “Children infected with coronarys may also have serious complications, such as the inflammatory syndrome of many of the (MIS-C) (MIS-C) systems a condition where different parts of the body are inflammationed, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes or gastrointhestial organs”, the CD says.

Vaccination can help prevent children from getting seriously ill even if they catch the choreography, the CDC points out.

According to CDC, Pfizer vaccine/ B NTech can cause temporary side effects, such as fatigue, headache, muscle or fever pain, and they can last up to 48 hours.

The CDC says vaccination of children can help protect family members, including brothers and sisters who do not qualify for vaccines and family members who may be in higher danger. / REL
