An interview by Michael Gove was dramatically delayed this morning because he was stuck in a BBC elevator.
According to British media, Telegrafi traces, the cabinet minister was in advance to be in the studio at 8:10 am, but did not appear on time.
We were hoping to speak with Michael Gove”, host Nick Robinson told listeners.
Mr. Gove is trapped in the elevator at the Broadcasting House. I'd like to say that this is a joke, that's not a joke”
Robinson said the conservative politician was staying in the mood and even offered to talk to the team over the phone from the elevator.
But he said he was expecting the community secretary to be released and to appear on broadcast a little later on the programme.
When Mr. Gove finally resurfaced at 8:30 in the morning, the host asked him for a prayer in the name of the BBC.
