Bolsonaro published a photograph from the hospital bed on Twitter, saying doctors have put a nasogastrick tube on it and are assessing the possibility of surgery. Doctors said Monday that his situation is improving.
The 66-year-old president has been sent to the hospital several times since the knife killed during the 2018 election campaign, the BBC writes.
In his post, Bolsonaro said that he began not feeling well Sunday after noon. He was rushed to a hospital in São Paulo from the southern region, Santa Catarian, where he was spending his vacation.
Bolsonaro said his symptoms were the same as during the four-day hospital extension in July, saying the slaughter is the root cause of his health problems. He was seriously injured in the knife attack, and since then he has underwent at least four operations.
