To enable the leader's election, the Democratic League of Kosovo must reach a coalition: either the Vetevendosje Movement, or the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
It is now known that Albin Kurti's party has ruled out any co-operation with the LDK in Pristina. Consequently, the only possibility is to reach a coalition with Memli Krasniqi's PDK.
But, Blic newspaper, finds that they are already far from having a coalition between the LDK and the PDK in Pristina.
Senior officials within these two parties have indicated that, under all odds, no agreement will be reached between them.
However, they have not ruled out the possibility of something big happen tonight, even though they are very skeptical.
We're too far away. I can't believe there's gonna be a coalition. We have major differences, really”, an LDK official said under anonymity.
Those of the PDK also declare, even though they see a light at the end of the tunnel. “Tonight there will be a meeting between Uran (Uran Ismail) and Progress (Progress Rama). It is true that things are far away, but let's see what will happen”, the official said. PDK.
