Azem: New energy tariffs are “lak in the throat” for private sector workers

Kosovo Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi has said that the rise of the electricity price is a “lak in the throat” for private sector workers. “ [...]
“We every day have asked for the minimum wage raise. Besides the economic problems rising prices is also the psychological blow”, Dukagjini RTV said.
Azemi says 30% of the workers in Kosovo will not be able to pay the electricity bill, and according to him, they risk remaining in the dark in these cold days.
The head of Kosovo's Independent Private Sector Union says they have been hopeful on the new government, but, according to him, has so far not moved.
We're not seeing any light at the end of the tunnel. Within the last three years from Kosovo, 200 thousand employees of different profiles have been removed,”, he said, conveys Telegrafi.
Azem says unions will be careful with protests but says hungry people can act even without any organisation.
The first of Kosovo's Independent Private Sector Union says veterans deserve the salary even a thousand euros, but according to him does not link minimum wages to veterans' salaries.
“Couldn't be equal to the one working with what doesn't work”, Azemi said.
