The Holocaust Memorial Day is marked today. In memory of the Holocaust victims, on 24 and January 25, 2022, I was honoured guest of “Europaean Jewish Association” at the event in Kiev, Ukraine, to commemorate the 33,771 Jewish massacre in 1941.
For two days, with about 120 parliamentarians from the countries of the European Union and several Balkan countries, Ukraine's Parliament Speaker, Ukraine's deputy prime minister, European Commission Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhely, as well as other officials from institutions and international organisations, were discussed building democratic societies where each is respected despite differences”, Hoti wrote.
