AV ONET calls measures against pandemic scandal, wants to be removed

AV ONET through a communique has said that it has consistently followed the situation with the Cavido-19 pandemic in Kosovo. Therefore, the measures taken by the Government for the police hour and the entry of foreign citizens with three doses of vaccines, according to them, is an absurd decision. “These measures that violate the freedom of movement of citizens is [...]

These measures that violate the freedom of citizens' movement are flagrant violations of human rights, taking into account that this whole situation comes from inadequate government management, with these measures hurting only citizens and the economy of the country”, it is said in communiqués.

AV ONET considers this to be a next scandal of this government, considering that no state has such a measure, for more when it is known that O already BSH has stressed that restrictions must be lifted.

The demand of three doses of vaccines for entry into Kosovo, except that is the case with Sui generis, because no country requires this, is making it difficult for the workers of neighbouring states, and this is also bringing their financial expenses, as it is making their economic situation difficult.

The introduction of a curfew has not produced results, it has already been proven because the virus is present during the day, but it's only hurting citizens in a psychic way and it's being punished even when they need to move, and gastronomial is causing serious damage, so the country's economy is also being damaged, say further in the communique.

AV ONET, expresses concern that the Commission for Human Rights, Gender Equality, for Undiscovered Persons, victims of the Sex Violence of War and Petitions of the Republic of Kosovo as the important body for overseeing executive work is not playing its role, where members of this commission are not taking human rights violations from the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.

Therefore, AVONET wants the Kosovo government to immediately remove these measures because these are only damaging citizens and the country's economy.
