Speaking of the crisis in dialogue and Washington's role in the process,frey said in an interview for the Serbian media “Blic” that sustainable progress should come “from here”.
“Washington continues to do all he can to encourage and support the full normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina and eventual mutual recognition”,frey said.
When asked about the arrival of the new US ambassador to Serbia, Christopher Hill,frey said he cannot predict the date of his arrival, but that he knows Hill “mese is waiting to come to Serbia”.
He stressed that Hill is one of the most successful American diplomats and that his appointment is a “message” for Belgrade.
Speaking of warnings to the newly expanded “blacklist”, Godfrey stresses that the United States views corruption as a critical threat to peace and economic development in the Western Balkans and that sanctions against corrupt companies and individuals.
