Two persons with foreign citizenship worked for a drug ring. One of them, the Albanian citizen, is now being expelled from the country for ten years, while his colleague from Northern Macedonia, the Wil District Court, has also given a genuine last “ ”.

The judge at the Wil (SG) District Court asked this question at the last trial session: “has a last chance, but is there something called the last chance?” Then he answered his question with one: “jo, no, actually”.

Because the 40-year-old citizen of Northern Macedonia, threatened with imprisonment and expulsion from the country, has already been tried for another act, at the Wil County Court, in Flaweil in May 2019. And even then the prosecution wanted to kick him out of the country, but the court had given him a last chance with a five-year trial period, broadcasts albinfo.ch. Hence, the question of why even now he was given another chance to restore his life to the right path is completely justified.

The father of two children had supported a criminal organization from abroad by performing logistical services in Germany and money laundering. For this and his criminal precedent, he was pronounced a 29-month prison sentence, which was postponed for central therapy. It also carries out the procedure and legal spending of 27,840 CHF. The prosecution had asked for 32 months in prison and ten years of expulsion from the country; a 24-month defence attorney, due to be changed in favour of station therapy.

Two Processes

The two people who were due to respond to two separate processes Wednesday, before the Wil County Court, had never met before June 2020, writes Tagblat.ch. The contact was made by a <x0 muja” with an out-of-country residence that had asked his fellow member for a favor by telephone. He had to rent a room in the region for an Albanian who had entered Switzerland as a tourist. And, the citizen of Macedonia did this “nder” twice.

The first time, he had rented a room under his name, broadcast albinfo.ch. However, when the owner noticed that someone else lived in the room, the Albanian had been forced to leave. The second time, he had given the Albanian's real name, saying he was his employer and that all contacts should go through him. Thus, his residence served as a basis for drug trafficking. Here he packed the stuff in a five - pound pack and handed it to the buyers.

By the time he was arrested in late August 2020, he had sold a total of four kilos of heroin mixture with a 27 per cent purity, corresponding to an estimated 1080 grams of pure heroin with a “worth of sales on the street” of 140,000 CHF.

With this circulation, it is not surprising that the Albanian was generous and each day gave his colleague from Northern Macedonia one or two packages. He never wanted money, the junkie explains. Rather, he viewed the agreement as an opportunity to be able to spend his salary on family construction worker rather than on drugs.

In total, he had received heroin worth between 8,000 and 10,000 CHF. In exchange, he had transferred five times from the drug trade, a total of 21.900 francs via “Western Union” to “seli”. Asked if he felt he was doing something bad, he replied that his addiction to drugs was stronger than scruples: “Look, I had an addiction. I didn't want to participate in it. But when you're in pain and you don't know how to get rid of the pain, you don't hesitate any more”, he's expressed himself before the judge.

Previous attempts to get rid of drug addiction had only operated temporarily, sends albinfo.ch. And since he was on the blacklist from health insurance companies for a long time, his health insurance company was unwilling to pay for his rehabilitation. Meanwhile, he has been removed from the blacklist, so he himself has demanded that he finally be allowed to undergo hospital therapy. This is the only chance he gets out of addiction so that he can later lead a normal life with his family, he explained.

Drug addiction works

The judge stressed that the decision against his ouster from Switzerland had been taken too much “narrowly”. “We appreciated your personal interest in staying in Switzerland because the reason for the criminal activity we see in your illness, addiction to drugs. If this ceases to exist, Switzerland's need for security will also be assessed”, the judge has indicated. However, he made it clear that the convict must now seize his true last chance, because the future “will no longer find a court that will again accept a grave case in your favour”. In other ways, it should behave exemplaryly in the future, because “and the Migration Office at some point means a lot more. And it is possible to take appropriate measures (design) even without a court”, the judge said.

Homelessness for Albanian citizen

The 18-year-old Albanian drug courier trial has been a cut trial and has ended within half an hour. The Albanian has admitted all charges and was sentenced to three years in prison for the work against the Narcotics Law, of which 18 months in effective prison and 18 months are postponed with a three-year trial period, albinfo.ch broadcasts.ch. The money of 19,440 francs found in him was confiscated by the state.

He has also been expelled from the country, without a right for entry in the next ten years in Switzerland and the Schengen Zone. The 18-year-old also has to afford the investigative and legal expenses of 38,400 CHF.
