Over 6 thousand students and over a thousand teachers infected with coronarys in Kosovo

At the extraordinary Assembly session, where COVID-19 pandemic is being discussed, Minister Nagavci said about 90 schools are working in remote (online).

Out of 775 educational-educial institutions are 90 schools working according to scenario C. While in active cases, according to today's report, 1,489 teachers are positive with the COVID virus, there are 187 people who are different staff and there are 6,684 students who are positive and currently isolated”, she said.
She said the situation is not the same in all schools and municipalities, so they have set the criteria for when a school can go to online learning.

“That's why we've made this decision to examine cases based on the evidence they have in schools, based on criteria as well. If 5 percent of students are identified as positive at a school, the entire school is passed on to learning from a distance. And if there's one or two cases in a classroom in a class, then it goes into learning from a distance of”, she said.
