The late man's brother, Hisni Dvorani, said Nuredini was 17 years old when he disappeared. Finding his body views it as a big day and a relief to the family.
Great pain is enough, but also big day and good news. In terms of the fact that after 22 years, I have a tomb and I know it from now on. 22 years we've been anxious, we've been killed for days, but we don't have a day. It is a relief for the family, as we now know where to turn and come at”, he said.
Nuredin's cousin, Ilir tells about Kosova Prees in detail on the tragic day of the deceased's murder and kidnapping.
The “image occurred on April 30th 1999, was an iron siege. Unable to penetrate the siege, we've moved from one part to the other, the mountains understood. That's how we missed the day, about 6:00 p.m., we couldn't get through and it's narrowed down and we got caught and shot with a hail of bullets. There were many killed and wounded, too the late Nuredini. So the wounded have tortured us in different ways until the mosque in Crez. The next day they started with crimes of their kind, burning people and slaughtering with knives. I was on the second tour, I left Nuredin there and I had the luck of going to Drenas, I was wounded and beaten. Then Nuredini with the rest of our cousins have come to the swarinas and most of them have been found killed, except Nuredin, who has been missing so far”, he adds.
While the head of the government Commission for Missing Persons, Andy Hoti, said Serbia should be conditioned for providing information to missing persons.
“When Serb forces have killed him they have committed the first crime against him. When they disappeared, they committed the second crime against him. When they've been hiding information about him they've committed the third crime against him, they've committed multiple crime for 23 years. So we've been demanding that this issue be addressed as human, human. Serbia continues to address it as political issues and play with the fate of missing persons. Even through the EU and the United States we have requested and continue to seek and say that pressure is not enough, but it must be conditioned to provide information on missing persons”, he said.
Nuredin Dvorani was only 17 years old when he had disappeared violently from Serb forces on April 30th 1999. Nuredin Dvoran's remains were identified through DNA analysis.
