Wind State: Kosovo prison sentenced to 5 euros in bribery to customsmen

Under the trial pronounced Tuesday by Judge Shacir Zika, the prison sentence against the accused will not be executed unless the same commits another criminal act within the one-year verifiating period.

While the same fine is obliged to be paid in a month's term by the day of the integrity of the act, reports “Justice Vow”.

Similarly, at the initial session, after reading the indictment by prosecutor Ali Uka, the accused has pleaded guilty to the criminal act he is charged with.

The prosecution's indictment in Gjakova is said to have offered the accused the bus documentation to customs officials at the border checkpoint in Qafe-Morine, of the latter during the raid, that the same one had introduced a 5-euro bill in exchange for moving across the border.

According to the indictment, this case occurred on June 6, 2021, until the accused had been on his bus.

For this, he is accused of committing a criminal offence “of bribery” by Article 422, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code, which is fined and sentenced to prison for up to five years.
