The news was confirmed by the Express by Neonatology Clinic Director Hayrie Ismaili.
She has said that the baby was born on 13 August in Ferizaj and that on August 28th it was admitted to the health clinic in serious condition.
“The baby was with COVID. She was born on 13 August in Ferizaj, and on 29 August she was admitted to clinics. She's in serious condition. From the first moment on, she's been in serious condition with all the efforts we've got”, she added.
The baby was receiving treatment at Neonatology Clinic, but because of the virus infection, she died last night.
The baby is said to have been in serious health early on, and then it was placed in mechanical ventilation.
She was infected with virus from her family.
