Through a post in his Facebook account, Ramadani has said the charge against him is groundless.
The charge against me is groundless. I, as deputy, have protested the loss of 8,200 hectares of Kosovo. Whenever necessary, each Albanian should protest the destruction of our homeland. Someone's desire to stop my run will not come true. Because the time has passed when institutions acted illegally, and because the Ferizaj municipality needs new energy for development”, Ramadani has written.
Otherwise, the Constitutional Court in Pristina has confirmed the indictment against the MP from the Vetevendosje Movement ranks, Valon Ramadani, as well as the candidate for mayor of Ferizaj municipality.
He is accused of throwing tear gas into the Kosovo Assembly and obstructing official persons in carrying out official office.
