Vuciq is declared: We're close to the license plate, we want peace.

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has spoken at a conference today following Ursula von der Leenen's visit.

From Nis, the Serbian president acknowledged that they are close to resolving an agreement with Kosovo on the license issue, and that they want peace.

He has said further that there are no conditions and that the European Union dialogue is fundamental.

Otherwise European Commission President Ursula von der Leyeen has made clear to Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq that Serbia cannot join the European Union without resolving the issue with Kosovo.
