Vuchiqi's Herycrity: Serbian president's statement with Borrell ends

Serbia will continue to honour all agreements it has signed, all international legal regulations and will continue to provide support for regional peace and stability, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq stressed today. In talks with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Giuseppe Borelj, Vuciq said, Serbia would not give up its commitment to peace, despite the irresponsible, unserious and criminal behaviour of Pristina authorities” writes KO.

Vuciq spoke with Borrell on the phone, and on that occasion the High Representative called for patience, preservation of peace and continuing dialogue in Brussels, the president's press service announced.

We remember, that EU high representative Joseph Borrell in a call he issued earlier on the situation in the north, demanded that Special Unit forces withdraw from that part, as well as remove Serb-set barricades.

And a direct message has been sent to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq in the communiqué released by Borrell.

Borrell in his call has said that Kosovo and Serbian leaders are fully responsible for any security risks and the welfare of local communities in both Kosovo and Serbia.

Kosovo and Serbia must find solutions to ease the situation and agree on the road ahead. The EU will actively support these efforts. The leaders of Kosovo and Serbia are fully responsible for any risks to the security and well-being of local communities in both Kosovo and Serbia. I stressed this in my calls with President Vuciq and Prime Minister Kurti this week”, the EU-set communique said.
