European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has met in Belgrade, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq and Prime Minister Ana Brnabiq.

After meeting with Vuciq, Von der Leyen, has indicated that dialogue must be used to resolve the situation created with the license plates with Kosovo.

“I praised the steps taken in law and order reforms. Further progress is also important in order for Serbia to join the EU”.

The key also is to use the EU-mediated dialogue, which is a sustainable solution to the current situation with Kosovo”, is expressed by Von der Leenen.

“Co-operation is the only” path.

Meanwhile, after meeting with Brnabiq, she has not indicated having talked to him about Kosovo, but has emphasised discussions on the green transition that, according to her, the EU may be the best help to achieve it.
