In an interview given for “DW”, she has said that the processes in question should be independent and in line with the Kosovo Constitution, the news writes.net.
I think that it is necessary to have independent, impartial and full compliance with the Kosovo Constitution and with Kosovo laws. Because it is our Constitution and these laws, which have established this court or the Spensited Chambers, as they are known and established, with the great support of the Kosovo Parliament at the time, with more than two-thirds of”, she has said.
According to Osmani, the formation of specials has been an act where Kosovo has testified that it does not fear international justice.
“And this has been an act where Kosovo has proved that, not only does it not fear international justice, but it co-operates with international justice, because Kosovo's truth has occurred before the eyes of the entire world”, she has said.
But in the context of the charges, Vjosa Osmani mentioned “the event” when involved were individuals after the war, and that according to her, they could not morally equal the genocide made by the Milosevic regime.
And it is not known what post-war actions the president has been referring to, since neither of the current indictees at The Hague has been convicted of such claims.
“We have nothing to hide, and we don't allow these trends for rewrite history to go forward, because we cannot accept that there is a moral equality between what the Milosevic regime has done, as a state-sponsored system that has committed war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, and what may have happened to some individuals after the war. They have never been institutional or popular-backed actions. In each case, Kosovo has given its support to these institutions, always believing that international justice will once again reveal Kosovo white-white”, she has said.
