Health Minister Arben Vitita has confirmed today's Gazeta Express report that the Kosovo government has refused donations of vaccines from Poland and Bulgaria.
Vitia has admitted that these donations have been rejected, as he says, there has been danger of having them out of date.
“Yes, it is true, several donations have been denied with the Astra Zeneca vaccine. It was a donation bid, after the donation we received from Norway. Which had an expiration deadline, not the optrimal that would have guaranteed us administration for our citizens. We have thanked them and rejected them because there was danger that we would not be able to manage”, Vitia said.
