In a statement posted on his website, the zoo explained that the zoo keeper, who was vaccinated against COVIED, it is an assimiptistic, and it carried personal protective equipment when it came in contact with animals.
Last February, eight gorillas at the San Diego Zoo were infected with COVID-19, but recovered within weeks.
