CDC Director Rochell Walensky said that the report is based on a mirror of cases of infection, hospitalization and deaths in 13 US states and that they are evidence of the power of anti-cronevirus vaccine.
The study was conducted in 600,000 infected adults and data from 187 hospitals in 13 American countries.
The study examined data from the last two months when the very transmitting delta version became the dominant type of coronary in the United States, and found that in addition to the dramatic increase in protection against virus - related deaths, the vaccine also protects against infection and hospital lying.
Walensky said that compared to the inoculated individuals, unaccompanied individuals have approximately 4.5 times more likely to be affected by COVID-19 and more than 10 times more likely to be hospitalised.
“As shown in a series of studies, the vaccine works. The bottom line is we have the scientific tools we need to overthrow this pandemic, “tha Walensky.
Full results of the study will soon be published on the CDC website.
