“I think there could be”, Zelensky said, when asked whether there is a real possibility of open-ended war with Russia. He was talking at the Yalta Summit for European Strategy.

Zelenksy said relations with the United States are better than before, but Ukraine has not been informed of a clear position if it can join NATO, Reuters writes, the Express broadcast.
By contrast, Russia strongly annexed the Ukrainian Crimean Peninsula in 2014 and supports separatists who are fighting against government forces east of Ukraine.
This year, Russia again provoked Ukraine, gathering large numbers of soldiers near the border between the two countries.
Ukraine has repeatedly called for NATO membership to be allowed, but the United States and other coalition powers have called for reforms in the former Soviet republic.
